August 11th is when my birthday party will be. I'm planning this far in advance because when you want someone in a band to come. You have to book them before someone else does.

I'm sick of whining about shitty friends and a boring life.
So I'm fixing it.

I'm packing up and leaving.

So now all my shitty friends will have a better reason not to hang out with me. I'll be 2 hours away.

I want to say I'll miss it here but I don't think I will. At all.
I don't think I'll miss anyone either.

How can I miss people I haven't seen in a month or more anyway?

I mean. The blame isn't all on everyone else. I'm equally as shitty of a friend for my own reasons.

But whatever. I'm happy to be getting away finally. To be moving up. And on.
I'm truly happy. I haven't felt this good in a long time.

The raves in pdx are better anyhow. lol.

I watched them play twice.
The second time I was in the second row[which was really the third because the side of the first row were missing] and Simon had been coming down off the stage for bits and pieces but he came down and got on the chair right in front of me. His bass was right in front of my face.

And I asked him for a hug, and you know what. I GOT ONE!
I squeeled and smiled for half an hour. and rocked out like woah.
Then after they finished playing a staff member handed me his guitar pick<3<3<3

And then we stayed and watched the second band play. But they took too long to get on stage so I thought I would miss The Slants autographing session. And they told me it was capped and I couldn't go down so I found the booth, got a CD, and waited.

one of the member showed up and was promptly followed by his security guard telling him to come back for another picture. And then they told me to come with so I could get an autograph.
I got another hug from Simon and he went through the common nice things to say while I stood there like a block of ice.
I was sooooo nervous.

I got a picture but I hate me in it so I cropped me out of it and saved only the part with him.


Yup. it was awesome. I'll definitely go see them again.
